Product Description

Mini- and Micro-size Fiber Optic Fusion Splice Protection Sleeves are designed to fit smaller areas for fiber optic splice storage. Micro Sleeves will only accommodate 250um coated optical fibers and have after-shrink diameter of 1.2mm,Mini Sleeves will accommodated 900um or 250um coated optical fibers and have after-shrink diameter of 2.0mm, Micro and Mini Fusion splice protection sleeves provide vital protection at the fused juncture between too fusion spliced optical fibers. In addition to providing a substitute for the original fiber optic cable jacket, Micro and Mini splice protection sleeves provide a degress of rigidity that prevents the spliced area from bending or flexing.


Features

Optic fiber heat shrinkable sleeves is used to protect the fiber optic joints. Move the Heat Shrink Sleeves to the fiber optic connector, let the melting point of the heat shrinkable sleeves in the middle, gently straighten the fiber connector, put into the heater and heating. The EVA inner tube is melted, and the polyethylene pipe is tightly sleeved on the connecting optic fiber after shrinking. Since there is a stainless steel rod in the tube, it not only increases the tensile strength (1000~2300g). At the same time, can protective the fiber from being bending.
