Ceramic Fiber Optic Cable Fusion Splice Protection Sleeves can be used for 4cores, 6cores, 8cores and 12 cores when splicing.
Shrinkable sleeve is applied to the optical fiber closure to fix and protect the optical fiber when splicing.We also call it as Ribbon Fiber Protection Sleeves or Ceramic Heat Shrink Protection Sleeves.
The sleeve can be divided into two types(single and mass) according to the function. The single type is used for the single-fiber, and the mass type is used for the ribbon fiber. It is different in the reinforcement between two types. The single one realizes the reinforcement by the stainless steel needles, the later one via the ceramic reinforcement member to realize the function.
Mass means there are several cores for the fiber. So the mass sleeve includes 4cores,6cores,8cores,12cores(for types).
Optic fiber heat shrinkable sleeves is used to protect the fiber optic joints. Move the Heat Shrink Sleeves to the fiber optic connector, let the melting point of the heat shrinkable sleeves in the middle, gently straighten the fiber connector, put into the heater and heating. The EVA inner tube is melted, and the polyethylene pipe is tightly sleeved on the connecting optic fiber after shrinking. Since there is a stainless steel rod in the tube, it not only increases the tensile strength (1000~2300g). At the same time, can protective the fiber from being bending.
